Level and Mount the Template
Before you begin installing your new outdoor house numbers, it’s important to position them correctly for a professional finish.
- Align the Template: Start by carefully selecting the location where you want your house numbers to be displayed. We provide a pre-printed paper template to help you mark the exact spot for each number.
- Level the Template: Use a level to ensure the template is perfectly straight. This ensures that your house numbers will be mounted level and aligned, creating a neat, professional look on your home’s exterior.
Drill
Drill The Predetermined Holes on the template
Once the template is securely in place, it’s time to drill the holes for your house numbers.
- Use the Paper Template: The template includes precise measurements for each hole. Simply follow the markings to drill the holes for the mounting screws.
- Drill the Holes: Using a drill bit appropriate for the material (wood, brick, or siding), drill the holes where marked. The template ensures your holes will be in the right spots, allowing for accurate installation.
Slide into place
Fill the holes with silicone and slide the numbers into place
After drilling the holes, it’s time to attach your new rust-resistant house numbers.
- Fill Holes with Silicone: Apply a small amount of silicone sealant into each drilled hole. This not only helps secure the screws but also provides an extra layer of protection against weather, preventing moisture from seeping into the holes.
- Slide the Numbers into Place: Now it’s time to mount your house numbers! Simply slide each number onto the pre-drilled holes. Make sure each number is aligned properly and sits securely in place.
